You did the thing. The right gift, the right timing, the amount of thought it deserved, and they said thank you and they meant it.
Weeks later you find out what actually landed. It was the evening you told them something you had never told anyone, badly, and then sat there regretting it.
You spent money on one and nothing at all on the other. Only one of them cost you something.
That is the whole calculation. A Scorpio is not measuring what you gave. They are measuring what it cost you to give it, and anything that was easy to produce gets filed as information about nothing.
